Coventry locksmith. Mr. Dennis Jones, was called out on a very special assignment to this 70ft. model of a nuclear submarine in the Precinct. The Navy staff on duty could not lock it up when they stopped work for the day. Earlier the lock had been broken by vandals. " I never thought I would be asked to fix: the lock on a sub, " said Mr. Jones, of Three Spires Avenue, Coventry. The submarine has been used as part of a three-week recruiting drive in Coventry, ending in a weeks time. It is based on the design of one of the Navys latest nuclear powered sub-marines that can go round the world without surfacing. So far there have been around two dozen enquiries to join the Royal Navy and the Royal Marines.

Coventry Locksmith Saves the Day - Mr. Dennis Jones Tackles a 70ft. Model of a Nuclear Submarine

EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this photo print, we witness Coventry locksmith, Mr. Dennis Jones, embarking on an extraordinary mission to fix the lock on a massive 70ft. model of a nuclear submarine in the Precinct. The urgency arose when Navy staff on duty were unable to secure it after their workday ended due to vandals breaking the lock earlier. Expressing his surprise and excitement, Mr. Jones exclaimed, "I never thought I would be asked to fix the lock on a sub!". Hailing from Three Spires Avenue in Coventry, he eagerly took up this unique challenge. The colossal submarine served as the centerpiece for a three-week recruiting drive in Coventry aimed at attracting new talent for both the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. Based on one of the Navy's latest nuclear-powered designs capable of circumnavigating the globe without surfacing, it showcased cutting-edge technology and power. Since its arrival, there have been approximately two dozen inquiries from individuals eager to join these prestigious armed forces branches. This remarkable photograph captures not only Mr. Jones' expertise but also highlights Coventry's involvement in promoting recruitment campaigns and embracing advancements in nuclear energy during this era.
