Phil Collins, the drummer in the pop group Flaming Youth today announced his engagement to Lavinia Lang, both are 19 years old. Phil is the ex-Artful Dodger from the stage show Oliver. Before joining the group, he will be leaving tomorrow for a two week tour in Spain. Lavinia also turned down a ten month tour of South America dancing. Phils father tried to get him to leave the group after he had heard their latest LP record Ark 2 on the radio. 17th February 1970
