In this print from the late 19th century, we are transported back to the bustling East Pool Mine in Illogan, Cornwall. The year is most likely 1893, and it's Croust time - a cherished Cornish tradition for a mid-morning refreshment break. A group of hardworking miners gather together, their faces filled with anticipation as they indulge in one of Cornwall's culinary delights: pasties.
