Captured in this timeless print from May 1998, we are transported to the enchanting town of Lostwithiel in Cornwall, where a momentous occasion is taking place - Mayor Making. The air is filled with anticipation as the civic party gathers to witness the prestigious Mayor Choosing ceremony for Jeanne Jones, who would hold this esteemed position for both 1998 and 1999.
