Lady Elizabeth Percy, who is to be one of the train bearers in attendance on the Queen at the Coronation went to Norman Hartnells in Bruton Street, to be fitted for her address. Lady Elizabeth is the daughter of the Duchess of Northumberland, who is a mistress of the robes and in charge of the train bearers.
The train bearers dresses for the Coronation ceremony were chosen by the Queen. They are classical in design and art of white duchess satin, embroidered down the whole length of the front in polls in a wheatear design. The dresses has short sleeves.
