Plate 10 from Archibald Thorburn's first edition of British Birds, Volume 1 (1915) showcases a stunning collection of five different species of tit birds, each captured in intricate detail. The centerpiece of the composition is the Bearded Tit (Panurus palustris), with its distinctive facial plumage and long, curved beak.
