In this photograph, taken on November 14,2005, at Underhill, Barnet, Arturo Lupoli celebrates scoring Arsenal Reserves' second goal against Southampton Reserves in the FA Premier Reserve League South. The Italian striker, who was on loan from Italian side Udinese Calcio at the time, expertly finished off a well-worked team move to level the score at 2-2. Lupoli's goal came in the 2005-2006 season, a campaign that saw Arsenal's reserve team battle it out against some of the best young talent in English football. The FA Premier Reserve League South provided an invaluable platform for the development of Arsenal's promising youngsters, as well as giving opportunities to first-team hopefuls like Lupoli to shine. The atmosphere at Underhill was electric as both teams fought for supremacy. The crowd roared in approval as Lupoli wheeled away in celebration, his teammates rushing over to congratulate him on his well-taken goal. The resilient Arsenal side went on to push for a winner, but ultimately had to settle for a hard-fought draw.
