In this poignant moment captured at Emirates Stadium on August 11, 2008, injured Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia makes his way off the pitch as Manchester United takes a 2-1 lead in the Barclays Premier League match. Almunia, a stalwart for the Gunners since joining the team in 2004, had been a key figure in Arsenal's defense, making crucial saves and commanding the penalty area with authority. But in this fateful game against Manchester United, fate had other plans.
