Andrea Alciati, also known as Andrea Della Rocca, was a prominent Italian jurist and restorer of Roman Law during the Renaissance period. Born in Lombardy, Italy, in 1492, Alciati's legal expertise and dedication to preserving the ancient legal traditions of Rome earned him a reputation as a leading scholar in European legal circles.
