This enchanting photograph captures the youthful beauty and elegance of Guja-Anna Calvi di Bergolo, the younger daughter of Princess Yolanda of Savoy. Princess Yolanda, born in 1901, was the eldest child of King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy and his first wife, Queen Elena of Montenegro. In 1921, Yolanda married Count Carlo Calvi di Bergolo, and Guja-Anna was born in 1930. The image showcases Guja-Anna's striking features, with her dark eyes, full lips, and delicate cheekbones. She is dressed in a fashionable outfit that is typical of the early 1930s, with a high-waisted dress, long sleeves, and a collar. Her hair is styled in soft waves, framing her face and adding to her ethereal appearance. The photograph was taken during a time when the Italian monarchy was going through significant changes. King Victor Emmanuel III abdicated the throne in 1946, and the Italian Republic was established.
