This stunning hand-coloured aquatint engraving captures the Carriage of the Charge d'Affaires of Portugal, Chevalier Rebelho de Carvalho, in Queen Victoria's Coronation Parade held on June 28, 1838. The parade, a grand display of pomp and ceremony, marked the official coronation of Queen Victoria as Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and Queen of Hanover.
