EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the majestic 19-metre class yacht, Corona, gracefully sailing downwind in 1911. Designed by the renowned William Fife III, Corona's launch marked a significant moment in yachting history. The image captures the sheer elegance and power of this gaff-rigged cutter as it glides effortlessly through the water off the coast of England's Isle of Wight. The monochrome tones add a timeless quality to the scene, emphasizing both the nostalgia and grandeur associated with early 20th-century sailing.
