The Great Harry, c1520, (1849). Henry Grace a Dieu (Henry Grace of God), also known as Great Harry, was an English carrack or great ship of the 16th century. Henry Grace a Dieu was the flagship of King Henry VIIIs fleet and was a contemporary of the Mary Rose. She was built at Woolwich Dockyard on the River Thames in London between 1512 to 1514. From Volume 2 of " Le Moyen Age Et La Renaissance", (The Middle Ages and the Renaissance), edited by Paul Lacroix, artistic direction by Ferdinand Sere [Paris, 1849]
