This chromolithograph showcases a diverse array of Arachnida spiders, showcasing their intricate and mesmerizing structures. The image features fifteen different species, each with unique characteristics that highlight the fascinating world of these eight-legged creatures. In the center, we find Protocepheus hericius (1), Cepheus latus (2), and Cepheus cepheiformis (3), with their elongated bodies and slender legs. To the left, we encounter Tereticepheus palmicinctum (4), Phrynichus reniformis (5), and Gnolus cordiformis (6), known for their distinctive shapes and patterns.
