In the enchanting Sheffield Park Garden, the Middle Lake is adorned with a breathtaking frame of scarlet Acer leaves, signaling the arrival of autumn. The vibrant hues of these majestic trees create a picturesque scene that captivates all who visit. As if in harmony with nature's palette, the Eurasian golden oriole, Oriolus oriolus, adds its melodious song to this symphony of colors. Illustrations showcase the beauty and diversity trees. And it is not just flora but fauna that finds solace amongst these beautiful maples - a red-winged blackbird male sings his heart out from atop snow-covered red maples creating an unforgettable winter scene.
