"Cigars: A Journey Through Time and Culture" Step back in time to the Christmas Truce of 1914 during World War I, where soldiers from opposing sides put down their weapons and shared a moment of peace, bonding over cigars. Imagine Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the engineering genius, standing proudly before the launching chains of the Great Eastern, celebrating his monumental achievement with a well-deserved cigar. In a leisurely moment around 1945, captured by an unknown creator, we see individuals indulging in the pleasure of smoking cigars. Perhaps it was a way to find solace amidst the chaos that war had brought upon them. Traveling to Havana, Cuba in the West Indies brings us face-to-face with a typical dressed Cuban woman enjoying a giant cigar. The rich tobacco heritage is evident as we explore Tienda del Habano stores like Montecristo Cigars and Cohiba Cigars in La Habana Vieja. Even Michelin Tyre Adverts and Doncella cigar advertisements from 1965 remind us that they were once seen as symbols of sophistication and luxury. Notting Hill Gate and Coronet Theatre in West London take us to another era where people would gather for entertainment while savoring their favorite cigars. An old man with cap and white beard transports us back to Havana's vibrant streets once again. His weathered face tells stories untold as he enjoys his cherished smoke amidst his homeland's history-rich backdrop. Onboard H. M. They have witnessed historical events unfold; they have been companions through times both turbulent and peaceful. They embody tradition, culture, celebration – connecting people across borders and generations.
