Even in works of art like "Black Beauty 1967" or George Studdy's poignant creation "Nobody Loves Me, " we witness how they are manifest itself within human hearts. H. M. Bateman's haunting depiction of "Mental Cruelty" serves as a stark reminder that pain is not always physical but can also torment one's mind. Throughout history, artists like William Hogarth have captured society's moral decay through pieces such as "The Reward of Cruelty.
