"Expulsion: A Journey of Banishment and Redemption" From the Surrender of Granada in 1492 to the Expulsion of the Moriscos from Spain, history has witnessed numerous instances where expulsion became a powerful tool for change. These captivating artworks depict moments that have left an indelible mark on humanity's collective consciousness. In "The Surrender of Granada, " we witness the culmination of centuries-long conflict as Boabdil hands over the keys to his kingdom, symbolizing both defeat and forced exile. Similarly, Hieronymus Bosch's enigmatic masterpiece "The Garden of Earthly Delights" presents a surreal depiction of temptation and subsequent banishment from paradise.
