Maiolica, the art of ceramic mastery, finds its home in Ravello, a picturesque town nestled along the enchanting Amalfi Coast in Campania, Italy. The vibrant colors and intricate designs ceramics adorn every corner of this coastal paradise. Step into the cafa©"Las Misiones" in Montevideo's Old City and be greeted by an entrance door adorned with stunning maiolica tiles. Each tile tells a story, whispering tales from distant lands and ancient civilizations. Santa Chiara Monastery in Naples boasts a cloister adorned with majestic columns covered in delicate maiolica patterns. As you wander through this serene space, you can't help but feel transported to another time. Within Santa Chiara Monastery lies an ancient library filled with treasures beyond imagination. Amongst these treasures are beautifully crafted maiolica plates depicting historical scenes like "The Taking of Lugo, " capturing moments frozen in time on tin-glazed earthenware.
