"Dancing to the infectious beats of Cy Lauries jazz band in a dimly lit cellar, tucked away in Soho, London. It witnessed lively jive and jitterbug dances during the 1950s, as couples energetically embraced these popular dance styles at parties that echoed with laughter and joy. Yet amidst this celebration, reminders lingered from past struggles; anti-suffrage sentiments expressed through slogans like "Votes for Women Never.
