Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence and Avondale, was a prominent figure in the late 19th century. Born on January 8, 1864, he was the eldest son of the Prince of Wales and heir to the British throne. Despite his royal status, Prince Albert Victor had a down-to-earth nature that endeared him to both high society and commoners alike. One notable event in his life took place in Mysore, India in 1890. A captivating photograph captured Prince Albert Victor sitting alongside the "Elephant King" in a Jungle Waggon.
