A breathtaking scene unfolds in this photograph as a herd of Plains Zebras, scientifically known as Equus quagga, quench their thirst at a waterhole in the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. The vast expanse of the African savannah stretches out behind them, with the golden grasslands providing a striking contrast to the black and white stripes of the zebras. The Plains Zebras, also known as Burchell's Zebras, are the most common type of zebra found in Eastern and Southern Africa.
