The image captures a night scene filled with mystery and danger. In this print, we witness brave soldiers of the expeditionary force navigating through treacherous terrain as they face off against evil spirits lurking in the shadows. Hung ominously above them is a booby trap, serving as a constant reminder of potential attacks from Tibetan forces. The military men are seen carrying bags filled with essential supplies for their journey, while some engage in Tibetan worship by spinning prayer wheels and wearing protective amulets made of glass charms.
