The left side panel of this triptych features the enigmatic figure of Sybilla Erythraea, also known as the sibille of Erythrae. She is depicted sitting gracefully in a serene landscape, holding a book in her right hand. Behind her lies a breathtaking mountainous scenery with a city nestled beside a flowing river. On the inside of this panel, we find Matelief Dammasz, the kneeling founder who commissioned this artwork.
