Agustín Esteve Marqués was a prominent Spanish military figure and courtier during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He rose to prominence under the patronage of King Carlos III and later served as the favorite of King Fernando VII. The young Agustín Esteve Marqués is shown here in the uniform of the Guard Corps, a prestigious military unit that served as the king's personal bodyguard.
