Every part was used to make floating boats, sails and oars for fishermans boats, hunting weapons bows, arrows and spears, buildings, flooring, fences, pulp for which paper was made, stuffing for pillows, evens when the plants grows older a sweet juice gradually collects in the hollow joints making a pleasant drink.
