Civitatis Orbis Terrarum," or "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum," created by George Braun and Abraham Ortelius in collaboration with Franz Hogenberg, is a seminal work in the history of cartography. The map was created in Ghent, in the Spanish territories of Castile and Leon, specifically for Salamanca University Library.
