The anticipation is palpable as they gather before their highly anticipated match against the International Scorers XV at Villa Park on March 3rd, 1934. Standing tall in the back row, we see a formidable lineup of players including H. Kenyon, H. Hill, W. J. Bird, R. Shrimpton from Worcester, Wood, L. F. Emblem and C. G. Trentham from Moseley, along with Mr. G. Yeats who officiates as referee for this momentous occasion. In the front row are K. Shortridge from Moseley, P. Cranmer representing Oxford & England with A. L. Warr also donning Oxford & England colors beside him. P. C. Hordern proudly represents Gloucester & England while W. H. Hill stands strong for Moseley alongside E. S.
