3084480 Gateleg table, c.1780 (mahogany) by English School, (18th century); 71.5x102.5x39.5 cm; The Geffrye Museum of the Home, London, UK; (add.info.: Mahogany dining table with a rectangular top of fixed centre and two drop leaves on a gateleg frame with six moulded square legs, four fixed and two moveable. Each leaf of the top is a single mahogany board. The flaps are hinged with three iron hinges each side each secured with 2x3 screws. The edges between the flaps and the fixed top are rule-jointed.
