The subjects of the photograph are Blandine, Cosima, and Daniel, the children of Marie d'Agoult and renowned composer Franz Liszt. Painted by Amelie de Lacepede in a delicate pastel on paper technique, this portrait showcases the beauty and innocence of these young individuals. Marie d'Agoult, also known as Countess d'Agoult, was not only an aristocrat but also a mistress to Franz Liszt from 1834 to 1844. Her children with Liszt - Blandine (born in 1835), Cosima (born in 1837), and Daniel (born in 1839) - were captured here at a tender age.
