The largest family is the Mantidae ("mantids"). Mantises are distributed worldwide in temperate and tropical habitats.

Printed using Dye-Sublimation and for best care we recommend a non-ammonia glass cleaner, water, or isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol to prevent harming the print surface. We recommend using a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off the print. The ultra-hard surface is scratch-resistant, waterproof and weatherproof. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.

This print from 1898 showcases a diverse array of insects, each with its own unique beauty and characteristics. The image features a Praying Mantis, Cockroach, and Bees among other fascinating creatures. In the top row, we see Euglossa dimidiata, a stunning bee species known for its vibrant colors. Next to it is Polybia sedula, a Folded Wasp displaying intricate patterns on its body. Chrysantheda dentata follows suit with another striking bee specimen. Moving to the bottom row, Scaphura Vigorsi stands out as an elegant Leaf Grasshopper with delicate wings. Pepsis pretiosa takes center stage as a formidable Road Wasp that commands attention.
