A tree hanging on for dear life at the edge of Preikestolen, a famous tourist attraction in Rogaland county, Norway. It is a steep cliff which rises 1982 feet (604m) above Lyseforden. At the top of the cliff, the surface is a nearly flat area of approximately 82 ft x 82 ft (25m x 25m). It is on the north side of the fjord. It is one of the most popular hiking trails in Norway, and can take an hour and 45 minutes to climb up to the overlook.
Lysefjorden is located in Ryfylke in southwestern Norway. The fjord is 26 miles (42 km) long and is about 16 miles (25 km) east of Stavanger. The name translates to light fjord, a reference to the color of the granite that makes up the walls of the fjord
