Since the formation of the English arm of the company, it has always had a mixture of English and Danish directors. In the 1930s, the turnoever of the company was as high as £ 9 million per year. Due to its central location near Rotherham and its proximity to the A1 and the North Sea ports, Kilnhurst was an ideal base for the company
