EDITORS COMMENTS
. This print takes us back to Jaffa in 1890, a city steeped in ancient history and strategic significance. With its broad view of the Mediterranean Sea, Jaffa served as a crucial military stronghold throughout the ages. The image captures the essence of this coastal gem with its charming coastline and distant horizon. In the background, we see people going about their day against the backdrop of this historic location. The monochrome aesthetic adds an air of timelessness to the scene. Jaffa's historical importance is highlighted by its conquests during significant events such as the First Crusade in June 1099 when it fell under Christian control.
