The opera, which was performed in Paris that year, is depicted in this stunning watercolor and chalk drawing. The exterior of the playhouse is beautifully rendered with intricate details, showcasing the grandeur and elegance of the opera house in the heart of the city. The figures of Guido and Ginevra, the opera's protagonists, are depicted in the foreground, engaged in a passionate moment, oblivious to the bustling cityscape and the outdoor vista beyond.
