EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph showcases the intriguing John Cuttens Apparatus, an automatic photography system designed to document any unusual incident during the 20th century. John Cuttens, a dedicated researcher with a keen interest in the paranormal and the scientific, engineered this extraordinary device to capture evidence of phenomena that defied explanation. The apparatus, a marvel of its time, consisted of a combination of advanced photography equipment and recording machinery. At its core were two high-quality cameras, one a Pentax and the other a Bronica, both capable of capturing crisp and clear images. These cameras were connected to a tape recorder, which documented any sounds or noises that accompanied the photographic evidence. Cuttens' innovative approach to documenting the paranormal was groundbreaking, as it allowed for a more objective and systematic approach to research. The automatic nature of the apparatus ensured that no crucial evidence was missed, even during the most fleeting of incidents. The combination of photographic and audio evidence provided a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomena under investigation. This historical photograph is a testament to the ingenuity and curiosity of John Cuttens and the many researchers like him who dedicated their lives to unraveling the mysteries of the paranormal and the unknown. The John Cuttens Apparatus represents a significant milestone in the history of psychical research, paving the way for future investigations and discoveries. As we gaze upon this photograph, we are reminded of the enduring human desire to explore the unknown and to seek answers to the questions that have puzzled us for generations. The John Cuttens Apparatus stands as a symbol of the scientific spirit, a reminder of the power of curiosity and the importance of pushing the boundaries of knowledge.
