This photograph, taken circa 1902, depicts the icebreakers Baikal and Angara peacefully docked on the shores of Lake Baikal in Russia. Lake Baikal, the deepest freshwater lake in the world, is located in Eastern Siberia and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
