Prince George of Battenberg (1892-1938), 2nd Marquess of Milford Haven married Countess Nadejda Mikhailovna de Torby, the daughter of an exiled Russian Grand Prince on 15 November 1916. George was the third child and eldest son of Princess Victoria of Hesse and Prince Louis of Battenberg, and the uncle of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
