On the left of the sketch can be seen a knocked-out German anti-tank gun, surrounded by its dead crew.

This powerful print captures the intense Battle at the Schilberg Cross-roads during the Second World War in 1945. The sketch depicts a fierce confrontation between British and German troops as they fought for control of the strategic cross-roads in the town of Schilberg, Netherlands.
