The Secundra Bagh Gate served as the entrance to the Sikandar Bagh, a beautiful garden and mausoleum complex, which was established in the 1820s by Nawab Saadat Ali Khan II. However, the serene beauty of the Secundra Bagh was shattered during the Indian Mutiny of 1857.
