A RAF search and rescue Westland Whirlwind helicopter, from RAF Boulmer, searches the coast near the mouth of the River Wansbeck for a missing man. One man had drowned and the other was feared dead after their 10ft dinghy capsized. Police named the missing man as David Bibbins, 30, of Railway Street, Craghead, County Durham. The dead man was not named at the time, two other men Thomas Johnson, 60, and Keith Robinson, 36, were rescued.
