Rock 'n' Roll Royalty - John Entwistle and Keith Moon Flaunt Their New Wheels

EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this snapshot from September 30th, 1971, the legendary rock duo of John Entwistle and Keith Moon proudly display their latest automotive acquisitions at Moon's residence in Chertsey, Surrey. The Who's bassist, Entwistle, indulged himself with a magnificent Cadillac Fleetwood 75 – an opulent marvel custom-built in America. This extravagant ride boasts luxurious features such as a state-of-the-art stereo system, television set, fridge for refreshing beverages, and even a drinks cabinet to cater to his every whim. On the other hand, Moon's eccentricity shines through his choice of wheels – an unexpected twist that only he could conjure. Rather than opting for conventional transportation like his bandmate, the drummer extraordinaire opted for a whimsical milk float transformed into his personal chariot. Complete with its own telephone line and bar setup within reach while cruising around town. To enhance comfort during their joyrides or perhaps impromptu jam sessions on the go; Moon ingeniously added an old armchair to recline upon and even fitted an ancient record player in the rear compartment - ensuring that music was never far away. This photograph captures not just two iconic musicians but also showcases their individual personalities reflected through their chosen modes of transport. A delightful glimpse into the lives of these rock icons during one unforgettable moment in time.
