The image captures the intense focus and determination of American drivers Peter Revson and Skip Scott as they prepare to tackle the demanding 14.1-kilometer track in their Essex Wire Corporation-sponsored Ford GT40. The Ford GT40, a legendary race car that would go on to dominate endurance racing in the late 1960s, sits proudly in the foreground.
