This print titled "Sketches in the West of Ireland" takes us back to the 19th century, offering a glimpse into the lives of Irish villagers. The engraving, created by an anonymous English School artist, showcases a range of scenes that depict both poverty and resilience. In this particular image, we are transported to Cork Road in Ireland. A young girl stands at the entrance of what appears to be a humble dwelling.
