A portrait oil painting of Lieutenant General Sir Alymer Gould Hunter-Weston, M.P. K.C.B. D.S.O. 1864-1940, who was a British Army officer serving in the Miranzai Expeditions of 1891, with the Waziristan Field Force, the South African War, The Somme and perhaps most notably as a leader of the 29th Division at Gallipoli, during WW1 in 1915. He became a Member of Parliament to North Ayrshire. Date: circa 1918
