Antonio Maura, born in Palma de Majorca in 1853 and was the Minister of Overseas trade from December 1892 until March 1894. In June 1893 he presented his famous Plan Maura, that established in Cuba an insular delegation. He was a President of the Minister Council in 1919 and died in 1925.
