However, it was not long before whispers of his questionable activities began to circulate. Amidst rumors of corruption and mismanagement, the duke made a shocking discovery within the prison walls. Hidden away in secret chambers, he uncovered vast hoards of foodstuffs and medicines. The find was immense, enough to supply the entire prison population for years to come.
