Born in Athens, Greece, on November 26, 1906, Princess Marina was raised in a wealthy and influential European family. Her parents' royal connections spanned across Europe, with her father being the younger brother of King Constantine I of Greece and her mother being a granddaughter of Tsar Vladimir Alexandrovich of Russia.
