The theatre is situated in the centre of the postcard and is distinguished by its protruding portico feature, which dominates the fa硤 e and frames the main entrance. THE GRAND appears twice in tablature above the columns, and two statues stand on the roof of the portico, one of which is masked by a Union Jack, which hangs from the top of the building. Demolished in 1962 although the fa硤 e remained until 1981. Date: circa 1904
