The indigenous man is adorned with a necklace, beaded belt, and furskin clothing while carrying a bow and arrow. His traditional attire reflects the cultural heritage and lifestyle of the people from this remote region. The detailed illustration is part of Ebenezer Sibly's "Universal System of Natural History," a comprehensive work that explores the three natural worlds of fauna, flora, and geology. Sibly's publication also includes depictions of mythical creatures like the sukotyro and mermaid, adding an element of fantasy to the scientific study.
